Açaí Bowl Recipe Without Banana

Any good açaí recipe is easy to make, can be customised to your tastes, and is a tasty, healthy meal option! Well this smoothie bowl ticks all the above!


  • ⅓ cup of frozen cherries
  • 2 teaspoons of chia seeds 
  • ⅓ cup of frozen blueberries
  • 1 packet of açaí purée 
  • ¼ cup of milk (your choice) 
  • 2 teaspoons of sun butter 
  • Fresh fruit to garnish on top 
  • Granola 
  • Optional sweeter

Step 1

Take all of your portioned ingredients, starting with the frozen fruit, and place them into a blender. The frozen fruit may be stubborn to blend, so you may need to move the ingredients around so that everything is evenly blended. You can add liquid to the blender to make the blend easier, but you want your mixture as thick as possible.

Step 2

Remove your açaí recipe blend from the mixture, and top with fresh fruit of your choice. Adding granola also adds a crunchy texture to the mix.

Recipe Tips

We have designed this recipe to not include bananas or nuts, but there is always the opportunity to get creative with your açaí recipe blends. You should also experiment with the thickness of the blend, so that it’s right for you!

Always on the rush in the morning? Prepare your açaí mix the night before, store it in your fridge, and take it out in the morning! 

For convenience and a thicker consistency, use frozen açaí purée!
